The Process
Step 1
Submit your request via email or by filling out the Commission Inquiry form. Make sure to include as many details as possible, such as subject, style, size, potential timeline, importance/meaning, what you're hoping to portray the most, and high quality reference photos.
Step 2
Work with Marcel on establishing the exact vision you're looking for. Sign the Artist/Client Agreement, put down a deposit.
Step 3
Painting begins. Depending on the size, complexity, and volume of other commissions at the moment, the piece could take up to 4-5 months to complete. Make sure you reach out with ample time before your decided completion date.
Pricing
Pricing varies for each commission depending on the size, number of subjects, and complexity. Typically, painting prices can range from $150 to $950. After we discuss what you're looking for in a custom piece, an initial quote will be provided. A 25% deposit is required before the start of any commission. Payment is due before the painting is delivered but after the piece is complete. More information regarding payment plans and means will be clarified in the Artist/Client Agreement.
